Bespoke Furniture Services Halifax

Woodland Pine can produce virtually any bespoke timber furniture. All products are completely hand-crafted from scratch using traditional cabinet making techniques, and each piece can be entirely customised to your individual design requirements.

We can produce any freestanding or fitted furniture units to your specifications such as:

  • Bedroom furniture - fitted wardrobes, beds, bedside tables
  • Dining room furniture - tables, chairs, display cabinets, dressers
  • Living Room Furniture - coffee tables, bookcases, fitted display cabinets
  • Home Office Furniture - fitted computer desks, filing cabinets, shelving

All Woodland Pine furniture is completely bespoke and handmade, unlike some ‘bespoke manufacturers’ who may simply order prefabricated pieces from a main manufacturer and then cut to size.

We do not partake in this practice, and instead, we prefer to focus upon exceptional build quality and the aesthetic beauty of the finished pieces.  This means our customers can expect the finest quality for the finished product, with pine/oak throughout (eg. solid pine drawer insides), and dovetail joints when requested.

Please see our furniture gallery to view some of our finished pieces.

Materials

The majority of our bespoke furniture is manufactured from either solid oak or pine timber.  We choose to use these materials due to the very hard and resilient properties of the timber, combined with the beautiful quality of grain markings in the wood.  Other materials and timber can be sourced to match your requirments, such as mahogany and cedar.

As Woodland Pine care for the environment and respect materials, all wood used to make our bespoke furniture is obtained from sustainable environmentally friendly sources to help minimise negative impact on the environment.

Styles and Finishes

In designing our furniture pieces, we strive to reflect your design and style ideas.  From modern contemporary, to traditional and antique styled pieces, we try to match your individual vision to be reflected in the product.

The furniture pieces can be finished and left either naturally unstained, or waxed, painted, varnished or stained subject to your requirements.

The Design Process:

There are a number of steps involved in producing bespoke furniture pieces, from the initial discussion to the planning, design and manufacture:

  1. Initially, you can contact us to discuss your requirements for the bespoke piece(s), and arrange for an informal free quotation to take place, ideally in the environment the piece is to be placed.
  2. During the free quotation, measurements will be taken as required and you will be able to tell us your specifications for the bespoke furniture (eg. style, finish, materials, budget etc.).  This will provide information for us to present a quote for the required work.  There will be no obligation to proceed with the work, unless agreed prior to the consultation.
  3. If all is ok at this stage, we can then produce a design brief, including basic design plans when required.  At this stage, you can also suggest any amendments to the design.
  4. On approval of the brief, we can then propose a timescale for completion of the project, and begin the manufacturing process, hand-crafting all required pieces for the job.

The work will then be completed over an agreed timescale, and can be either delivered directly to you, or alternatively collected from our workshop at your convenience.
